What Is Direct Sales Network Marketing?

Many who are new to or have even been in the home business field have asked this basic question: What exactly is Direct Sales Network Marketing? It seems as though persons have the wrong idea what Network Marketing is and how it works. Because of the wrong perceptions in the mainstream, people who would normally be hugely successful shy away from Network marketing. The interesting thing is: Most of us already are network marketers, and very good at it, without realizing this fact. How so? Let’s use an example of network marketing that most will be able to identify with.

You Already ARE a Network Marketer. You Just Haven’t Be Getting Paid!

That’s right and I will prove it. Say you buy an item such as a car. You drive the car for some time and determine if you like it or not. You like it and you tell others about it. You have experience with this car and easily tell your story to others. When you hear of someone else who is going to buy a car, you tell them why they should buy one like yours. You give a brief synopsis why this would be a good purchase. This is network marketing! The difference is, you don’t get paid when someone buys a similar car. You are advertising for that company for free.

Imagine if a car company would give you a part of the sales price for sending them a customer. Would you tell more people about the car? Probably you would. Who would you tell? Most of the people you came in contact with. Especially the people that tell you they are looking to buy a car.

You see, you already are a network marketer and probably very successful at it. With one exception: you have been working without a commission!

Network Marketing Is Not A New Concept

If you will look back in time, you will see network marketing was the first, best way to get the word out. Before the era of mass marketing, business owners relied heavily on ‘word of mouth’ to grow their businesses. They offered quality products and personal service to assure their success. With the invention of the television and mass marketing, personalized service and product quality lessened in importance. in recent times however, there has been a huge surge back to network marketing. Huge companies are turning to Facebook and other social networking sites for marketing as people want to hear it from people who know it. More and more you will see that social media and network marketing are quickly replacing mass marketing as the preferred way to gain a customer base. Billions of dollars are being made this way by the companies and individuals who have learned how to get paid for doing this.

How To Make Money With Network Marketing

This is actually more simple than you would probably first imagine. With the surge of social media and network capitalism comes the internet based network marketing companies. They have products that you can represent and suggest to others for a commission. Some companies are very new and some have been around for over a hundred years. You would easily recognize the names. Others have been on the scene for a few decades or less and still others are popping up every day. There are many different compensation models to choose from as well. It is a matter of knowing what income you wish to make and what you are willing to do to make it. Most network marketing companies require only a part time effort. You can start your business and work a few hours a day or less. It does take effort on your part to succeed. Companies who tell you all you have to do is sign up and send in a little cash, well, you hopefully know better. If not now, you eventually will. To make money in Network Marketing you basically have to do the following: Tell others about the product you represent and get them in front of the information provided. That’s basically it.

Finding The Best Network Marketing Company

If you are looking to start a Network Marketing Home Based Business you will want the best opportunity for success. Why ‘try’ different companies until you find the one that suits you? This will be a tremendous waste of time and money and probably turn you off the business completely. Instead, talk to people who have successful home based businesses and find out what they already know. Then make your decision based on a few points: How much money do you want to make with your business? How much time are you willing to spend in your business? How much are you willing to invest in a successful program? How long do you want to take to see a profit in your business?

These are very important points to consider before you begin looking for a home based network marketing business and will put you in to profits faster by knowing exactly what your goals are.

If I could give one single piece of advice to anyone considering a home business: Have Fun! This is a business that can potentially reward you with a multiple 6 or even 7 figure income. However, if you aren’t having fun, you may as well stay in your current job. That is one of the top reasons individuals leave their jobs and start their home businesses. They want to have fun. The more fun you are having the more successful you will be.
